MBK Senior Living to Manage Rocklin, Calif. Senior Community

Management Change Allows Company to Bring MBK Senior Living Standard of Service to Casa de Santa Fe

IRVINE, CA – (April 15, 2008) – In an effort to standardize care at all of its communities, MBK Senior Living has announced it will begin managing Casa de Santa Fe, a 159-unit senior living community located in the city of Rocklin in Placer County, Calif. Acquired in 2007, Casa de Santa Fe is the only senior living facility in the competitive market area that offers independent living, assisted living and memory care in separate buildings on a campus setting. Management veteran Josef Dunham has been selected to oversee Casa de Santa Fe.

A graduate of California State University, Sacramento with bachelor’s degrees in business administration and human resources management, Dunham has over 30 years of management experience.

Located in the rolling hills of Rocklin, 20 miles northeast of Sacramento, Calif., Casa de Santa Fe is a state-of-the-art facility that opened in 2002, making it one of the newer senior living facilities in Placer County and the only class “A” asset in the Rocklin market. Offering multiple levels of care in separate buildings on one central six-acre campus, the facility includes 72 independent living units, 64 assisted living units and a memory care facility with 23 units. In addition, there is a 3,000 square foot community clubhouse that serves as the central activity and special event area for the independent living residents.

Selected independent living units offer spacious living areas that include fully equipped kitchens with granite slab countertops, fireplaces and attached garages. Additional onsite amenities at Casa de Santa Fe consist of three separate dining areas, private dining facilities, an exercise room, game room/theater, spa and heated pool, beauty/barber shop, and onsite pharmacy services. Casa de Santa Fe is further enhanced by the surrounding community of Rocklin, which offers the intimacy of a small town setting with the conveniences of big city living, and is located near golf courses, lakes and rivers, and the Roseville Galleria Mall.
