Orange County, CA-based private developer MBK Rental Living has acquired a 5-acre site in the Sonoma County city of Petaluma, CA, for the development of a 134-unit multifamily project. Located 40 miles north of San Francisco, The Haven at Deer Creek will welcome its first residents in the Summer of 2024.

“This land purchase will set the stage for additional much-needed housing in one of the tightest housing metros in the country,” said MBK Rental Living President Ken McCarren. “We anticipate that The Haven will attract residents into a desirable location with excellent accessibility to San Francisco and countless other Bay Area attractions.”

The community will consist of three-story garden style and three-story podium style apartments with a mix of one- and two-bedroom units. All buildings will be solar powered for maximum efficiency and community amenities will include an outdoor living space with a hot tub, grilling area, fireplace and water feature.
